Visiting the tulip fields in the Netherlands has always been on my bucket list. Recently, I had the opportunity to fulfill this dream, and it turned out to be even better than I had imagined. Instead of going to the popular and crowded Keukenhof gardens, my friend and I decided to rent bikes and explore the tulips at our own pace. It was a truly magical day, made even more special by the sun peeking out just for us. As soon as we got off the train, the clouds cleared, but unfortunately, they returned when it was time to head back home. The tulip fields were absolutely breathtaking, filled with vibrant colors that made it impossible not to smile. While all the hues were beautiful, the pink fields were my personal favorite. Throughout the day, I felt a deep sense of gratitude for my wonderful friend’s company, the clear blue skies, and the carefree bike ride. These worry-free days have become increasingly rare, so I always make sure to appreciate them when they come along.
During my visit, I wore a wide-brimmed straw hat from J.Crew.
