When I planned my trip to Salzburg, I had dreams of seeing the city covered in white with snow-dusted rooftops and hazy blue skies. Unfortunately, we weren’t so lucky to witness the winter wonderland depicted in the photos. However, even without the snow, Salzburg proved to be more magical than I could have imagined. The city has an enchanting atmosphere that can be explored in just a short weekend, yet it offers enough attractions to keep you occupied for every hour you spend there. Wandering around the Old Town feels like stepping into a picture-perfect Austrian postcard, with pretzel vendors on every street corner, tall Germanic spires reaching for the sky, and the soft ticking sound of clocks in the background.
